Teacher Report: 2006 Travel Seminar: Thailand and Cambodia
from AsiaPacificEd Teachers Weblog
Fifteen U.S. teachers will travel through Thailand and Cambodia in AsiaPacificEd's 24-day travel seminar program this summer (July 14-August 6, 2006). While in Phuket, the teachers will have the opportunity to come together and share the experience with our high school students from AsiaPacificEd's newly launched youth exchange program (P4Y). While in Thailand, the travel seminar will include an excursion to Lanta/Phi Phi Island to see the impact of the 2004 tsunami, as well as a 4-day homestay and job-shadow with schoolteachers in the ChiangRai area. "I'm very excited at this opportunity to travel in Southeast Asia," wrote a middle school teacher.
